Grupo Panvel* processes your personal data in accordance with the principles of good-faith, purpose, adequacy, necessity, free access, quality of the data, security, prevention, non-discrimination, and, most importantly, transparency.

What are the bases for processing your personal data?

Any processing of personal data, whether or not they are sensitive, shall be authorized by at least one legal basis, in accordance with its purpose. Processing of your personal data shall only be carried out under the following circumstances: (i) for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation; (ii) for the regular exercise of rights in judicial, administrative or arbitration procedures; (iii) when necessary for the execution of a contract or preliminary procedures related to a contract of which you are a party; (iv) for the protection of credit; (v) when necessary to fulfill the legitimate interests of Grupo Panvel*; (vi) to protect your health; or (vii) to ensure the prevention of fraud. In any other case, the processing of your personal data shall be subject to your consent.

Data we receive from you:

  • Registration data for client fidelity programs: name, gender, e-mail, date of birth;
  • Contact details for the delivery of products: phone number, address;
  • Information and opinions gathered via surveys so we may improve our services and your experience as our client;
  • Other information gathered in registration forms or via contact with us by e-mail, phone calls, etc.;
  • Information collected via the use of cookies.

Information collected from other sources:

  • Information collected to prevent fraud;
  • Manifestly public information.

How do we use your personal data?

Processing your personal data may serve to:

  • Improve your experience as a client of Grupo Panvel*;
  • Provide services and offer products efficiently;
  • Ensure your safety;
  • Send marketing material;
  • Provide services and offer products that may benefit your through our Medicine Benefits Programs (Programas de Benefício de Medicamentos, “PBM”), Continued Use Program (Programa de Uso Contínuo, “PUC”), and our fidelity program, in accordance with the Terms of Bem Panvel. You may choose not to receive this information;
  • Answer your demands via our client channels;
  • Build a database to perform statistical studies and gather knowledge;
  • Prevent frauds.

As an authorized drugstore, Panvel, as well as Grupo Panvel*, must ensure that the sale of certain products, such as drugs and medicine, is licit, both in stores and via our digital resources. In certain cases, therefore, you may need to provide us sensitive data, such as medical prescriptions, so we may fill them and adequately offer you products. We shall keep that information secure and exclude it once the legal term for maintaining it expires.

With whom may we share your data?

Your personal data shall only be shared in exceptional cases to fulfill legal and/or regulatory obligations, or in the circumstances in which you request it. We may also share your information within Grupo Panvel* and with our partners and providers of information technology services. One example is that whenever you use one of our e-commerce resources, we share your personal data with companies specializing in identifying frauds.

How do cookies work?

Cookies are internet files that temporarily store your interaction with our virtual environment. We use cookies to:

We maintain your data at least for the time while you are associated with us or until termination of the purpose of each processing instance. Which precautions are in place to protect your data?

To protect your information, we adopt safety measures to process any data collected, especially sensitive data. We implemented these technical and organizational measures to avoid non-authorized access, accidental or intentional handling, loss, and destruction of your personal data.

What are your rights as a personal data subject?

Grupo Panvel* ensures that you, data subject, may exercise your rights in accordance with the applicable legislation, such as:

  • Confirmation of the existence of the processing of your personal data;
  • Access to the data;
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or out-of-date data;
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data or data processed in noncompliance with the provisions of the LGPD;
  • Portability of the data, by the means of an express request;
  • Information about public and private entities with which Grupo Panvel* has shared your data;
  • Revocation of consent, if applicable.

Please note that some of those rights still need to be detailed and regulated by the National Data Protection Authority before Grupo Panvel* can adequately address them.
